Chances are pretty good that the officer was just gatering information about the average speed of drivers on that particular section of road. None of the
handheld police radar guns that we sell offer a camera option. Of course, this does not mean he does not have a different brand of
radargun that may have a camera attached.
The State of California requires average traffic speed information over a period of time before they can legally change the speed limit on a section of road. This may be the case in your area, too.
